Whipping up a delicious, plant-based Shepherd's Pie on a cold night has never been easier! With Samadhi Whole Food's Lovely Lentil Bolognese, you'll be eating a warm and mouth-wateringly tasty plant-based meal in no time.
Lentil Bolognese Shepherd's Pie
- 1 large sweet potato (peeled & diced) - Samadhi Whole Foods Lovely Lentil Bolognese (900g) - 1 garlic clove (peeled & crushed) - Salt, pepper, and fresh herbs (to taste) - Greens to saute as a side (optional! We recommend zuchinni and broccoli)
Step 1: Preheat oven to 180°C (fan-forced)
Step 2: Wash, peel and dice a large sweet potato. Boil in salted water until soft.
Step 3: Drain water from potato, then mash with salt, pepper and fresh herbs
Step 4: Fill an oven-safe pie tray with Samadhi Wholefoods Lovely Lentil Bolognese
Step 5: Layer mashed potato on top of lentil bolognese
Step 6: Place in oven for 35 minutes
Step 7: Remove pie from oven (use those oven mitts!) and serve with your choice of sides. (In the video below we go with some simple sauteed greens)
