Hi!
I'm Oliver, owner of Samadhi Whole Foods.
I trained as a chef in some of Sydney's top restaurants, before diving head-first in to the small biz world...this is the journey of Samadhi Whole Foods (so far!) - thanks for joining us!
Market life...
The Samadhi journey started in September 2015 with a market stall, 'Samadhi Sweets'. I sold raw, organic, refined-sugar free, and gluten free cakes which I developed and created.
After a year of selling at local markets in the Macarthur region, I started adding some savoury dishes to my market stall offering.
The nature of running a market stall full time (lugging around marquees, fridges and delicate little cakes) soon had me seeking out something more fixed. This would also mean I could continue to grow and share my vegan and vegetarian cooking with more people!

Bricks and mortar!
After deciding to find my market stall a more permanent home, I landed on Argyle Street in Camden.
Samadhi Whole Foods cafe doors opened on 10 December 2016 — a vegetarian eatery in the heart of lovely Camden.
In 2020 we transitioned to a 100% plant-based menu. Not only that, we now have a range of ready made meal bases that we sell online and in store so you can take a bit of Samadhi home with you!
What's next?
At the moment, we are looking to get our ready-made goodies into stores across Australia to make plant based eating easier and more enjoyable for people everywhere. Check out our current stockists here, and, if you can, help us spread the Samadhi word!
Our dream is to one day buy some land where we can grow a large portion of our produce organically and create an active community of people with a passion for biodiversity.
Our vision is to make the earth a happier place through the cultivation of plants, community and delicious food.
We hope to see you and feed you soon.
